Inspired by haute couture designs, Inditex’s flagship brand launches the second Zara Atelier capsule collection: Collection 02_The Dress. It features 6 dresses, including the silver-coloured design worn by Marta Ortega (current owner of Inditex) at the Dior fashion show in Seville.
The first capsule collection was launched in 2021 to reinvent women’s wardrobes by mixing not only the sophistication of Zara’s designs, but also a much more artistic vision. The aim is undoubtedly to bring the Zara brand closer to the high-end brands, which it has also sought to do with its photo campaigns, now much more similar to magazine editorials and shot by photographers who have done campaigns for Channel.

The first dress is very romantic and flowing with some metallic details that give it a punk feel, this dress is definitely a hit for those who like the style of Zadig & Voltaire but want a more affordable design.
It combines jacquard fabric and chiffon in ivory colours, with some floral details in the same colour. It also includes studs and leather on its wide straps.

This sleeveless dress, makes the optical effect of a two-piece. The colours and patchwork remind me a bit of Viktor & Rolf’s designs for their ready to wear collections.
The fabric, as in the previous model, is also jacquard and the palette is based on earth tones. I think it’s a dress that would really look good in any situation, and I can say without a doubt that it’s my favourite.

This next dress is baby doll style and mixes white with hand embroidery in carmine red and scarlet. The dress is made of cotton, which makes it cool and ideal to wear during the last days of summer and the beginning of autumn.
This piece can be inspired by the Boho dresses that are so popular this summer or, due to the pleats at the bottom, it can also be inspired by the tulle dresses that are back for this new season. It is an ideal dress to go for a walk in the city or to take advantage of the last days in terraces.

The next dress is inspired by the most demanded silhouette of the summer, the tunic dress or caftan, a comfortable and elegant option that undoubtedly could not miss.
Although due to the metallic details may lead us to think that it is an evening dress, the warm colours for me make it an evening dress without any doubt. With just this dress, some espadrilles and a handbag you can be the queen of any wedding or formal dinner. An example of this is undoubtedly Marta Ortega, who chose this same design to wear it to the Dior fashion show in Seville last June, as I mentioned before.

This dress is undoubtedly, the most “pop” of the entire collection.
A mini dress in full colour, it is the best acquisition for those daring girls who love contrast. As not having enough with the variety of colours and prints, there is also contrast in the figure, being the body of the dress tight and the sleeves puffed. It also has small sparkles thanks to the jewelled appliqués on the fabric.

This last design of the collection, a dress that like the second one mentioned, uses the patchwork trend in the upper area.
It has embellishments such as sequins or abstract floral motifs, which contrast with the petroleum blue draped skirt, the combination between the quilted texture and the silk skirt makes the upper part stand out even more. Finally, the split that the skirt has is very attractive to me, as it makes the leg show when walking, which I like a lot.
I think this dress would be an ideal look for any event, lunches, dinners, weddings, and even nights out.

Resulta complicado elegir entre todos ellos. El primero me ha encantado nada mas verlo. Pero el segundo y el último me parecen increíbles. Creo que me los pondría todos sin duda alguna.
Gracias .
